This past week has been dominated with talk about the federal budget, with much discussion about the implications it holds for us. It's at a time like this that it's worth remembering the fact that all throughout human history, individuals and organisations have achieved great feats irrespective of the economic/ political landscape that formed the backdrop. Ultimately, it's not what our 'superiors' do but what we do that will ultimately define how far we go in achieving our desired outcomes- be it in business or our personal lives. Keep in mind that the scene below (and the entire venue it can be found in) was the manifestation of the imagination of a man sacked once by a newspaper he worked for on the basis of "lacking creative ideas":
